Service Description
A professional hand-stripping service designed for wire-haired breeds. This treatment helps preserve the coat’s natural texture, colour, and function, while keeping your dog comfortable and well cared for. Ideal for dogs with wire or harsh coats that require regular hand stripping to maintain healthy, functional coats. 🐶 Common breeds for this service include: Wire Fox Terrier, Border Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier (rough coat), Miniature & Standard Schnauzer, Wire-haired Dachshund, Irish Terrier, Airedale Terrier, Scottish Terrier, Brussels Griffon (wire-haired), and similar wire-coated breeds. ___________________________________ What’s included ✔️ Hand stripping of the main coat to preserve texture and quality ✔️ Scissor tidy for areas where full stripping is not required (face, ears, tail) ✔️ Hygiene trimming (intimate areas) for comfort ✔️ Paw trimming (over & under) ✔️ Nail clipping ✔️ Optional bath & blow-dry (same day or separate visit — see below) ___________________________________ Prices Prices are based on your dog’s size, coat type and condition, and the individual care and handling needed during the session. For first-time visits, we’ll do a personal assessment and go through the expected time and cost with you before starting — so there are no surprises. Below is an indicative price guide. Full Grooming Prices (incl. VAT) • XS (0–3 kg) – 999–1,099 DKK • S (4–9.9 kg) – 1,099–1,199 DKK • M (10–17 kg) – 1,299–1,499 DKK • L (18–26 kg) – 1,599–1,899 DKK • XL (27+ kg) – 1,999 DKK ___________________________________ 🐾 Extra Care & Handling Fees Extra Care fees are assessed during grooming and are independent of grooming duration, as they reflect handling difficulty and safety requirements. Extra care may apply if a dog is fearful, reactive, or highly stressed (including dogs that require two people present to ensure safety) Fees • Extra Care – Level 1: 100 DKK • Extra Care – Level 2: 200 DKK • Ear hair removal (upon request) – 50 DKK Please note • If fleas are found, grooming will be paused and a cleaning fee of 260 DKK will apply. • We cannot accommodate female dogs in heat • Standard hand-stripping services use a balanced approach (combination of stripping, scissoring, and limited clipper work) • For dogs with sensitive skin, we may recommend splitting the service into two appointments. (This option must be requested in advance by email and is agreed upon, before the service begins.)
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps us offer the time to another client and ensures you won’t be charged. You can make changes to your booking online or contact us directly at info@cphpetsclub.dk If less than 24 hours’ notice is given and we’re unable to fill the time slot, or in the case of a no-show, a cancellation fee will apply. - Full Grooming services: a 600 DKK cancellation fee (due to the longer time reserved and variable pricing based on size and coat). - For other services, a 50% charge of the scheduled service will apply.
